Traveling to SF or Nashville? We’ve got an app for you.

Update: The Giveaway is over but the map guides are still available for download from GPSmyCity.

Hey there, readers!

I’m trying a new experiment and I would love your feedback.

Have you ever read a blog post about a city or a travel article and thought to yourself, ‘I wish I could use this article as a guide while I’m traveling…’ but were hindered by either a lack of wifi, limited data or quite simply loss of URL to the very article which inspired you?

GPSmyCity is trying to tackle this problem by working with bloggers and incorporating articles into their mapping program so you can access guides offline with GPS coordinates et al.

From November 21 thru 27, I have several guides available for a free download from the itunes store. Use the link here to Find Your Stomping Ground in Nashville, and click here for A Guide to San Francisco’s Most Hipster Hood.

Or you can visit the link here to download the app and search for guides by article title.

I’d love to know what you think. Was it easy to use? Did you find it helpful?

If you enjoy your experience using GPSmyCity, consider checking out some of my other guides in the app:

  • Sign Me Up Santa Fe
  • Welcome to Springfield, Missouri
  • City Guide for a Flâneur: Portland
  • City Guide for a Flâneur: San Francisco
  • 24 Hours: Minneapolis
  • A Warm Welcome in Amsterdam

Of course, you’re always welcome on the blog to discover what to do in NASHVILLE, TN or SAN FRANCISCO, CA. Check out any of my city guides here anytime.
