Coffee Menu, Cup 22
It’s a short drive from Carrboro to Saxapahaw’s Cup 22.
In a multi-level music venue meets brewery meets artisanal coffee shop, we sat inside a large industrial space sipping iced brew.
Sleek rounded industrial lamps and a smelting tank turned lamp light up an evening concert and dance venue. A sparkling disco ball sits atop in the middle of the ceiling.
The brick walls have a white patina style and floor to ceiling windows light up the space and lead to a large outdoor patio overlooking the Haw River.
Red and blue wooden school chairs along long and square tables fill the café area while patrons tap away on their laptops – WiFi is fast and free.

Music schedule
Saxapahaw is a sweet stop en route – coming or going to larger towns like Carrboro, Chapel Hill or Boone – it’s small, friendly, accessible and with some really neat places to enjoy while there.
Before leaving, we stopped in the public park for a quick picnic.
